Minor Jobs

Around the middle of May, I got out a hammer and put together a few squares of tile for the cockpit. I still have to trim the edges, but this should make a nice addition. It is non-slip, and will keep feet dry from any water that splashes through the cockpit.

Back when I was putting the winter cover on, a line whipped the tail off my windex.

A new replacement vane costs $20, so I used some Krazy glue and electrical tape to put it back together. If it only lasts the season, I'm happy.

Now on to the bigger pre-launch job, reinstalling the drain plug. It was so tight, that when I tried to unscrew it in the autumn, I ripped it right out of the boat.

Sort of important to have that back in before Serenity goes into the water.
